Breast Centre

The Breast Care Centre provides rapid diagnostic clinics and a comprehensive surgical service to people experiencing breast problems in the North Metropolitan Health Service’s catchment and parts of rural WA.

We accept referrals from specialists, GP’s and Breast Screen WA (external site). A multidisciplinary approach of clinical assessment by breast physicians combined with imaging and pathology assists diagnosis. We offer a range of surgical treatments for breast pathologies, including breast oncoplastic surgery.

Breast physician clinics and consultant-led surgical and oncoplastic clinics run Monday to Friday. Counselling is offered to all women newly diagnosed with breast cancer from our team of breast care nurses. A dedicated clinical psychologist and physiotherapist provide specialist services and support to patients and their families.
