Changes to Outpatient Pharmacy service delivery for metro patients
13/01/2021
The Outpatient Pharmacy at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital is transitioning to cease the metro post/courier service from 1 January 2021. The courier service to all patients commenced in March 2020 in response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) to limit unnecessary flow of people through the hospital.
Now with the easing of COVID-19 restrictions in Western Australia it is transitioning back to the pre-COVID service.
There are no changes for our regional patients who will continue to have their prescriptions kept on file and have their medications delivered via post/courier.
For detailed information about the options available please access the Outpatient Pharmacy update (PDF).
