Critical Care Introductory Course

This full day multidisciplinary course will provide you with evidence-based education and skills relevant to doctors and nurses who want to prepare themselves for working with critically unwell patients. Develop expertise with hands-on practical workshops on setting up arterial lines, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, assisting with intubation and trouble-shooting ventilator alarms. Will also include a refresher on the Hamilton T1 ventilator. The afternoon will involve simulation sessions with critically ill patients so participants can practice their new skills in an immersive environment.
