Patient Transport Driver

Patient Transport Drivers play a vital role in supporting people who have no other way of travelling to and from Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. This team provides far more than transport — they offer comfort, reassurance and friendly companionship during what can often be a stressful time for patients.

Drivers assist with picking up and dropping off patients, helping them safely from the vehicle into the hospital building, where additional services can guide them to their appointments. This may also include accompanying patients in a taxi or driving patients to the airport and assisting them into the airport and to the correct counter.

It is a meaningful way to make a direct, positive difference in someone’s day.

If you enjoy connecting with people and want to contribute to a service that truly matters, we would love to welcome you to the team.

Morning and afternoon shifts are available Monday to Friday, with options for:

  • 7am to 12pm
  • 12pm to 4.30pm
  • 2pm to 6pm
