PACU Fundamentals Course

This one-day course led by experienced PACU senior nurses and anaesthetists, delivers evidence-based education and practical skills tailored to nurses working in the post-anaesthesia care unit (PACU). Through interactive lectures, simulation scenarios, and hands-on workshops, participants will build confidence in managing PACU-specific emergencies.

• airway management
• blood pressure control (including arterial line setup and care)
• pharmacology essentials
• multi-modal pain management
• management of post-anaesthetic emergencies

Suitable for both novice and experienced PACU nurses, this course combines theory with practical application to enhance patient safety and clinical expertise.
