This two-hour hands-on workshop provides clinicians with the fundamental skills and knowledge for wound closure, combining interactive demonstrations with practical training. Designed for practitioners in emergency departments, primary care, and rural/remote settings, this course focuses on safe, effective techniques for managing a variety of wounds.

• Wound assessment
• Suturing techniques: simple interrupted, vertical and horizontal mattress
• Local anaesthetic administration
• Post-procedure patient education
• Skin stapling
• Principles of aseptic technique
