The Audio Visual Production Unit is the Medical Photographic Unit based at Sir Charles Gairdner hospital.

As a patient attending the hospital, your treating medical team may refer you for medical photographs. All photographs captured by the unit form part of your secure patient medical record.

The photographs will allow various medical teams the opportunity to confidentially monitor your treatment providing you with continuum of patient care across many specific specialties that may be required as part of your overall treatment while in hospital or visiting an outpatient clinic.

Design Services

The Audio Visual Production unit provides a comprehensive design service to medical professionals across Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. The unit produces an extensive range of design topics including publications based around patient care, research and training.

The unit provides a rapid print service for up to date publications and houses the only large format graphic printer used predominantly for Research posters and medical graphic applications at Sir Charles Gairdner hospital.
