The Liver Transplant Unit at SCGH is the state referral and treatment centre for The Western Australian Liver Transplant Service (WALTS).
SCGH has performed more than 460 Liver Transplants since 1994. The unit officially added Cholangiocarcinoma Transplantation to its’ services in July 2018. We participate in a range of clinical trials and translational research activities that inform our practice. Our referral base draws from within SCGH, referring tertiary hospitals or from private physicians and GP’s.
