Rheumatology
The Rheumatology department caters for acute and elective admissions for ongoing investigation and care for patients with arthritic and inflammatory connective tissue disorders.
Ward rounds and hospital consultative service occurs 4 to 5 times weekly – contact through Registrar.
The department links with Rehabilitation Units at Osborne Park Hospital and Fiona Stanley Campus for longer-term rehabilitation requirements.

Clinics
- New Case and Review Case Clinics are conducted on Tuesday and Thursday AM as well as Wednesday PM.
- An Emergency Clinic, Monday AM, caters for urgent outpatient support.
- A Combined Clinic (Biologics) is also run on Monday AM.
- Specialised Clinic for joint injections on Wednesday PM.
- A dedicated Connective Tissue Disease Clinic occurs every Thursday AM.
- A dedicated Adolescent Transition Clinic is run every Thursday AM.
- A dedicated Scleroderma Clinic occurs once a month on a Thursday.
- There is an out of hours (Monday to Friday 6pm to 2am and 24 hours during weekend) on-call roster for phone contact and if necessary for attendance by consultant to back up the rheumatology staff, emergency department and other departments within SCGH.
