Congratulations Nick Merwood, Specialist in Poisons Information at SCGH, who is our SCGOPHCG Employee of the Month Award winner for February 2020.
Nick was nominated in acknowledgement of his exceptional skill, knowledge and passion for his work. His nomination noted that his intelligence, knowledge and work ethic make him a powerhouse in the WA Poisons Information Centre.
Nick was nominated for the award by Dr Ann-Maree Lynch Head of Department WA Poisons Information Centre.
“Nick works tirelessly and accepts any duty with grace,” Dr Lynch said.
“Nick shows respect and compassion for all callers and tailors his responses to each individual caller’s capacity to comprehend. His toxicology knowledge is second to none and he is highly efficient showing great attention to detail.”
