Working tirelessly to ensure staff in the Emergency Department (ED) were kept updated and informed during the pandemic, A/ED COVID Project Officer Tarah Mountford has been recognised as the Sir Charles Gairdner Employee of the Month.

Tarah was nominated by her manager for developing an informative and morale building ED COVID newsletter, providing updates and clinical information required by staff working within the ED during a changing and challenging environment.

The nomination described Tarah as proactive and productive, going above and beyond for patients and her colleagues with kindness and empathy.

Tarah was awarded a certificate and voucher via a Teams e-presentation and will enjoy cupcakes with her team members courtesy of sponsor SmartSalary.

Tarah clearly demonstrates each of the five values of North Metro and is a worthy recipient of the $150 gift voucher from our generous sponsors.

A special thanks to our generous sponsors Paywise (external site), SmartSalary (external site), P&N Bank (external site) and Hesta (external site).

Congratulations Tarah, your team obviously think very highly of you!
