Statistical Services
The Sir Charles Gairdner and Osborne Park Health Care Group (SCGOPHCG) Statistical Consultation Service is available to all staff employed at Sir Charles Gairdner or Osborne Park Hospitals who are conducting research at either of these sites.
Investigators (excluding students) may access preliminary statistical consultation time, with ongoing support continuing up to a maximum of 10 hours at the discretion of the statistician and the Department of Research. Access to this service will be prioritised on the basis of expected outputs as follows:
- Grants
- Manuscripts
- Abstracts
- QI/audits.
There is an expectation of inclusion in the authorship of any publication where there is a contribution through analysis and interpretation of data by the statistician, as per ICMJE guidelines.
This service is heavily utilised so requests should be made in a timely manner as wait times are often several weeks. To apply for access please complete the SCGOPHCG Statistical Support Request form (REDCap)
